The Foundation for Leon County Schools is a Regional Partner of the New Worlds Reading Initiative.
New Worlds Reading is Florida’s free program that supports students in strengthening literacy skills, building reading confidence, and encouraging a lifelong love of reading.
New Worlds Reading delivers monthly free books and activities to eligible VPK students who are not yet meeting age-appropriate standards according to FAST Star Early Literacy and K-5th grade students who are not yet reading on grade level in a Florida public or charter school. Materials are available in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole or braille.
