We are excited to host our 5th Annual Tee It Up For Teachers Golf Scramble at Golden Eagle Country Club on Monday, May 6th. Shotgun start at 8:30 AM. In addition to the golf scramble, we will provide lunch as well as prizes for long-drive, closest to the pin and many more.
This annual event helps raise funds that will be used as part of a legislative matching grant that funds the Innovative Teacher Grants program.
One hundred percent of the event proceeds will go towards funding the grants with the potential of impacting thousands of Leon County Schools students.
The karaoke-contest-event will feature “local celebrities” that will compete for the Karaoke for Kids Champion award via an online fundraising platform link, and then sing their chosen song on the night of the event. No one will know who the Champion is until the night of the event in a grand reveal. In addition, other awards will be presented at the event for best performance, best costume, most spirited, and fan favorite. FLCS will provide karaoke contestants a complete fundraising marketing kit and timeline that will make their efforts easy to deploy. The goal for all karaoke contestants is to raise a minimum of $2,500.
